Mossbourne Community Academy has elevated educational to the highest levels placing the Academy in the top 1% of schools in the country, year on year, since the first public exam results in 2009. The building is fully naturally ventilated based on a single sided natural ventilation concept delivered by our seven-roof mounted architecturally inspired bespoke wind turrets.
Twice a year we carry out routine servicing of the internal motorised dampers, mechanical boost fans and the control system that maintains a constant internal climate throughout the school. Access into each turret was part of the initial design and as such we constructed access ladders mounted in the middle of the large acoustic pod that allows us to enter the wind turret for routine servicing of the equipment.
